MOVE PROJECTS: From Childhood Passion to Building Dreams
Since I was young, construction and architecture have been part of my daily life. My father, a technical architect, taught me the trade by taking me on Saturdays to count the iron in the reinforcements, ensuring it matched the structural plans. On Sunday afternoons, alongside my uncle Jesús, the first municipal technical architect of Durango, and my father, I listened to their passionate conversations about the profession.
I studied Technical Architecture in Granada, graduating in 2010, despite the economic crisis. I worked as a freelance with my father and for several renowned companies, managing various projects. However, over time, I realized that the sacrifice was not worth it as I was working hard and earning little. Faced with the precarious market, I had to reinvent myself and learn what was never taught about practicing the profession.
