On Sunday afternoons, alongside my uncle Jesús, the first municipal technical architect of Durango, and my father, I listened to their passionate conversations about the profession.
I studied Technical Architecture in Granada, graduating in 2010, despite the economic crisis. I worked as a freelance with my father and for several renowned companies, managing various projects. However, over time, I realized that the sacrifice was not worth it as I was working hard and earning little. Faced with the precarious market, I had to reinvent myself and learn what was never taught about practicing the profession.
